How To: Easter Nests

This is a very simple recipe and a cute Easter treat that you can make for a classroom party, Easter brunch, etc..  It only requires 3 ingredients.  Chow Main Noodles, Chocolate Chips, and Jellybeans.

Step One: Simply melt your chocolate chips in a double boiler or in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave.

Next, Pour your chow main noodles into the chocolate.  Mix gently until all noodles are coated.

Spoon mixture unto waxed paper on a cookie sheet.  Form into little "nests".

Add jellybeans.  Chill for at least 2 hours.

So cute and so yummy!

Beautiful Eggs

Easter Fun

Easter morning we had an Easter Egg Hunt! The kids had so much fun finding eggs with candy and "winner" eggs! The winner eggs allowed them to choose a prize from the basket of goodies where they found toys, bubbles, jumpropes, Hot Wheel cars, sidewalk chalk and more!

Josh made quite the haul this Easter! With a new Webkinz, Wii game, a Pinecar kit, Bug Identifier, Ben 10 toys, and lots more!

Easter Photos Today

I decided today that I may not have very many years left for the cutesy Easter portraits before my son decides he is too big for that. Sooooo...today Bella & I picked Josh up from school and took him to his photo shoot. When we arrived, he was greeted (by name) and quickly escorted to his own private dressing room.... where homemade cookies were waiting. During the photo session, he was a huge ham for the camera. You would have thought that he had been modeling for years... All of the photos turned out great! What a fun experience. Here is how he dressed for the photos:
Linen Striped Pink shirt, Navy Chinos, & Patchwork Tie, from The Children's Place
Navy Converse Chuck Taylor Original Sneakers
from Amazon.
