I dreamed of one day having a room to keep my scrapbook supplies in instead of in bins in the storage area in the garage, and using a card table to crop. Finally! I have one. I still have some things I would like to do. But I am truly happy with what is going on in here so far.

Cars birthday party
We had a Cars birthday party for Josh's 6th! We had sub sandwiches, chips and cake....
The kids were wild & crazy for a while playing, until I mentioned BINGO- I used a "Cars" Bingo - a game I found at Big Lots for 2.50 each! (prizes were Hot Wheel cars)... They also had a great time hitting the pinata for even more goodies... For more cars/hot wheels/speed racer party ideas check out: www.itsapartyfullife.com/hot_wheels

It seems the newest trend for the holidays this year is mercury glass decor. Here is how Wikipedia defines it
"Mercury glass is the common term for
silvered glass, which describes glass that was blown double walled, then silvered between the layers with a liquid silvering solution, and sealed."more to come

What a fun Halloween this year!
Early afternoon, I helped at the school for Josh's classroom "fall festival". It was a lot of fun. Josh was "Speed Racer". I made up treat bags for each of his classmates.
Our new neighborhood is the BEST for trick or treating fun! Most everyone's house was welcoming with lit Jack 'O Lanterns and friendly faces. Tons of families dressed in costumes enjoying the beautiful night (it was 68 degrees here today). We counted 100 kids and had little candy leftover.
Afterwards our friends came over and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows at our campfire. Later, Grandma Anna taught the kids the "hokey pokey".....
